Brightfold Media publishes digital magazines across Europe. Every story needed cover art, social variants and localisation by hand. Halo automates the whole creative chain — with editors approving, not producing.
Each article published in eleven languages needed a cover image, five social formats and translated typography — assembled manually by a design team that had become the newsroom's slowest step. Breaking stories regularly went out with placeholder art.
Editorial standards were non-negotiable: AI could assist, but every published asset had to pass an editor.
Halo plugs into the CMS. When a story is filed, it generates cover concepts in the magazine's art style, builds every social format with localised, hyphenation-aware typography, and queues the set for one-click editorial approval.
Models were tuned per publication, so each magazine keeps its own visual voice — and editors keep the final word.
What we built
Within a quarter, Brightfold publishes six times more visual variants with the same creative team. Time from filed story to fully-assets-ready dropped by 83 % — and reader engagement on localised covers rose measurably.
“The AI creative pipeline cut our production time by weeks. We now publish in 11 languages without growing the team. Genuinely transformative.”
